I Graduated!

Like 2 years ago… but when you’re in a cap and gown at graduation everyone just assumes you’re graduating. So I just learned to say “thank you” when they say congratulations.

Part of my job is working as a Marshal at graduations. I was hoping that meant I got to carry a gun (like U.S. Marshals) but that wasn’t the case. I DO however get to wear a Master’s hood (they won’t let me call it a hoodie) even though I haven’t actually earned the degree. So it just LOOKS like I earned a Master of Science from SFA. I guess this all will make up for missing my own graduation eh?

It’s kind of rewarding getting to see the students I advise walk across the stage – I like being a part of helping people achieve their goals.

Other than that my weekend is wide open for some rest and relaxation! I’ve been listening to a little Marvin Gaye and some other oldies so I’m all set for a very mellow weekend. That’s it for now – I’m out.
