I had lunch with John Rolf and Evan Wilson (and their wives) today. Random, I know. Here’s how it happened.

So today as I’m waking up for my day of rest I get the thought “Hey, I should go to church!” Since I’ve discovered the blessing that is “Saturday Evening Service” I have only been to church on Sunday morning once and that was to be baptized. My friend John leads worship at a church in Argyle and I’ve been meaning to go out and visit ever since I moved here 5 months ago. So I get out there and as the band gets set up I notice a guy that looks a LOT like Evan Wilson. I come to find out it IS Evan Wilson. After the service we have a little “Nacogdoches Reunion” and I get invited out to lunch. That’s pretty much it.

On another note, I feel like throwing up just a little because I just spent $130 so I can take the GRE on May 21. Anybody want to tutor me in math? To help recover the cost, Regent University is having an info session for my degree program in Dallas on Tuesday and they’re buying dinner – I am SO there.

So that was Sunday.
